A member of the Washington Arts Society must overcome tragedy to find love.
Recurrent throughout the story are discussions that take place between a very sad, heartbroken Cora Lancaster and her new roommate, the ‘tell it like it is’, cousin Eve. It is during these conversations where Eve advises Cora on how she should move beyond the tragedy that caused her so much sadness.
Will Cora take Eve’s advice or follow her own heart?
